“Summer Respite” collective exhibition

“Summer Respite” collective exhibition takes place from 15. to 22. of july 2025. at the Green Door Gallery in Belgrade.

In the heart of Belgrade, while the city is buzzing with heat and bustle, a quiet corner of blue and art has opened. “Summer Respite” at the Green Door Gallery brings a moment of silence, refreshment and inspiration, as if you were 20,000 miles under the sea.

The exhibited works, which include oil, watercolor, mosaic, glass and combined techniques, are thematically related to the sea, the underwater world, landscapes and scenes that, as the author of the concept, Ana Belanović, points out, “create a feeling of freedom and peace”. As she explained, the entire environment is designed so that visitors can “take a break from the heat and soak up positive energy.” Along with Belanović, the works are also signed by Gordana Špralja Tomašević, Snežana Nikolić, Zorica Rajić, Stana Kovački and Tijana Stojičić. There are also Tanja Đokić, Sanja Avramović Ristić, Minja Miletić, Lela Grbić, Olga Pol, Emilija Begus and Marijana Ristić. The revenue from the ticket sales will be donated to the reconstruction of villages in the south of Serbia that were recently affected by fires.
