This painting is a representation of Earth’s creation. In it we see a set of shapes – abstractions of forming earth, sea, sky and lightning, bringing light to the background of darkness and chaos, as a mythic metaphor.
The conflict of these forces of creation is presented by the use of heavily textured shapes with a shadow gap between them, and further enhanced by golden leaves which add a dynamic depth to the painting, changing its perception as the observer moves.
