Metamorphosis of the mind
The exhibition “Young Hopes of the Art Circle” will be held from December 26th, 2024. to the end of January 2025. at the Gallery of the National Museum in Požarevac.
As part of this exhibition, my artistic concept “Metamorphosis of the Mind” will be presented.
The exhibition titled “Metamorphosis of the Mind” consists of seven abstract paintings that explore the emotional and psychological stages that an individual goes through when dealing with mental, emotional and physical challenges.
The artist deals with the inner world, showing through abstraction how the human mind can change, grow and evolve, even through the deepest struggles and sufferings. In this way, she invites viewers to connect with their own emotional experiences, encouraging them to reflect on their own inner metamorphosis.
The name of each painting indicates one of the key stages in the process of personal struggle and transformation. Each phase reflects specific psychological aspects: from the recognition of the problem, its acceptance, through struggle and understanding, to the healing process that requires maintenance in order to reach the final transformation.
These stages are depicted through abstract forms, rich texture and colors that reflect the inner dynamics of these emotional states. Gold details add a dimension of light, hope and potential for healing, while the relief texture of the paintings invites the viewer to physically connect with the artworks, experiencing them not only visually, but also tactilely.
