Hypo(crisis)

Hypocrisy as a practice of falsly appearing virtues or good, while concealing real character or inclinations is an experience which artist sought to meraphoricly express. Emergence of unconsious impuleses into conscious thought was represented by using figural and abstract motifs.

This painting is used as a book cover for the book “Verstellungskünste” – a Literary Critique of Religious and Political Hypocrisy edited by Pia Claudia Doering.
