Belgrade – the city in which I create 2025
“Belgrade – the city in which I create” is a traditional annual exhibition that took place from August 29 to September 20, 2025. in the Small Gallery of the Serbian Army Veterans club.
This exhibition’s essential value lies in the artist’s freedom to express Belgrade from his own inner landscape, without thematic or technical limitations. Thus, Belgrade gets a new face – a face that is born from color, line, form, thought and emotion.
At this year’s exhibition, the works of almost a hundred artists from the fields of fine and applied art and design were presented. Visitors have the opportunity to step into a rich spectrum of expression – from oil on canvas, drawings and graphics, through ceramics, sculpture, mosaics and batik, to photography and contemporary design. This diversity not only illuminates individual artistic views, but also testifies to Belgrade as an inexhaustible inspiration – a city full of layers, contrasts, unspoken and deeply experienced.
The expert jury, composed of prominent curators and members of ULUPUDS, carefully selected works that authentically respond to the theme – through a personal, often subtle and introspective dialogue of the artist with the city.
